Ellery is the fashion brainchild of Kym Ellery, who gained years of valuable industry experience working at Russh Magazine, amongst others, before launching her first range. She studied at the famous Central St Martins in London, and also at TAFE before officially setting up shop with her eponymous label in 2007. E L L E R Y now has a global following, and has seen collaboriations with Graz Mulcahy, Sportsgirl and Emily Fitzgerald, as well as dressing Madonna and an editorial in US Vogue. Famous fans include Nicole Richie, Jennifer Hawkins, Natasha Khan, Georgia Jagger, Dita Von Teese and Eva Mendes. Ellery was a finalist in the 2008 Quantas Spirit of Youth Awards in 2008, and also in the 2010 Woolmark Designer of the Year Awards, but the real proof of her success lies in the brand’s dedicated and supremely loyal fanbase – an Ellery dress is always something special.
